It isn’t too hard to guess where the name of this bar got its name from. Pet sounds, named so because of owner Jay’s infatuation with the timeless album by the Beach Boys, is a cozy third floor rock bar on Kyunglidan Street. Upon arriving patrons are provided a pen and paper on which they can write down their requests. Drinks are cheap and come in a large variety, something for everyone. Pet sounds is one of those places you walk in thinking “just one drink” and then you end up leaving 4 hours later with no voice. With super friendly staff and a killer sound system the night will woosh by as you listen to all your favourite songs while taking full advantage of the $5 dollar shots.
Pet sounds has a good mix of Korean and western clientele and as all the staff are capable in English, not only will you be having a good time but also making some local friends on the way.
