L'abri

L'abri is located on the second floor in the iconic Kyobo building on Gwanghwamun Square. The name, 'Shelter' in French, must mean gastronomical shelter for any in need of great dining.

This is no ordinary restaurant, the dining room was designed by the same company that did the interior for the European Central Bank and the food and service is impeccable. Many of the chefs are have worked at the prestigious Samsung owned Shilla Hotel. Now you probably think they charge ridiculous prices but you can have a 6 course menu dinner for 70,000 KRW not bad at all for this standard.

Mr Choi the general manager is as hospitable as he is knowledgeable and him and his team instantly make you feel welcome.

The food is classic french fine dining, with a focus on Korean seasonal produce.
